When a doe is ready for her kits to be born she builds a nest, like Panda is doing here. She gets a huge mouth full of hay...
and jumps into the box to arrange the hay to cover the wood chips inside. Soon she will pull fur from her tummy area to line the hay, deliver her kits and then pull more fur to cover them. Her babies will be born without fur, blind and deaf.
