In the summer, the coffee ladies like to take field trips. We have the time to visit some of the places we've always wanted to , but....
Today we started out at a Vietnamese restaurant. We were so close to the beach we decided to visit Naval Base Ventura County.

No people....so rare in southern California. Just the surf,
The Brown Pelicans over head.
Shore birds and seals.
And the sisterhood.
But it isn't Friday!!
